Emergency meal owl pillows from the scarletlibrarian—full of polyester fluff and about two cups of dried beans and rice in a Ziploc baggie.  In the event of emergency (or a need to wash the owl), simply unstitch the owl’s face flap and take out the pouch with the stuffin’ and grubbin’. 
Each owl is a unique combination of colors and yarns and roughly a foot tall and wide, six inches deep. Due the weight of the beans and rice, the owl pretty much always wants to stand upright, in a cute position, and is a nice firm lower back pillow.
